The charcoal filter refreshes the air to remove smoke and airborne pollutants before they’re recirculated back into the home. This accessory can be used with several brands; check to see if your cooktop’s model number is compatible. Kit includes (1) charcoal filter and (2) clips. Replacing this accessory will require basic hand tools and novice repair experience. Remember to turn off the appropriate circuit breaker before replacing this part. Helpful Tip: For optimum performance of your vent, change the filter at least once every 6 months or when a loss of airflow can be detected.
