• The housing and frame are corrosion resistant
• Gasketed air-tight lamp housing prevents conditioned air from escaping into the attic space, reducing unnecessary HVAC energy usage. The lamp housing compartment can be adjusted to fit ceiling thicknesses from 1/2" in to 1-1/4"
• Wiring is made easy with the included wiring quick connects that allow simple installation of 12-20 AWG wire without using separate wire nuts - simply strip supply wires and push in
• The housing has pre-installed nails on the adjustable hanger bars which are easily installed in regular lumber, engineered lumber, and laminated beams
• Hanger bars include T-bar mounting clamps for use in suspended t-grid ceilings. Bar hangers have a maximum span of 24" and are scored in two locations for fast, clean breaking, allowing housing installation in very narrow joist spacings
