The Modine POR145 is an advanced oil fired unit heater that is both efficient and reliable. Capable of emitting 145,000 BTU/hr of heat, the POR145 has enough power to warm even very large areas. An efficient PSC fan motor powers the propeller while a two stage fuel unit ensures fuel pressure is always kept high. The unit heater uses advanced microprocessor based burner technology to provide an all-in-one tool for data readings, efficient fuel consumption, and automatic reset control.

• Advanced Flame Retention Burner: The flame retention burner on the POR145 produces a highly stable flame, giving the burner a 20 to 30 percent increase in combustion efficiency over non-flame retention burners.


• Two Stage Fuel Delivery: The fuel unit on the POR145 uses two distinct stages to ensure maximum fuel pressure during varying degrees of operation. This allows the unit heater a high degree of functionality even in high lift applications.


• Permanent Capacitor Split Motor: The permanent capacitor split motor design used for the propeller's motor works together with high grade ball bearings to reduce motor energy consumption and maintenance needs.


• Interrupted-Duty Ignition: The sensors included in the ignition disable the igniter once a flame has been detected. This feature extends the life of the ignition system, reduces component noise, and reduces gas usage during the ignition process to an absolute minimum.


• Beckett CleanCut Oil Pump: The POR145 comes with a Beckett CleanCut pump. The cleaning operation of the burner cuts oil flow almost immediately after power to the motor is cut, resulting is less wasted oil and higher system life.
