Part of Mitsubishi's hyper-heating product line, the PCZ-HA42NHA is a packaged single zone heat pump mini split system designed to bring high-efficiency zoned temperature control to large homes and businesses in frigid climates. A low-profile ceiling suspended indoor unit, PCA-A42KA7, is paired with an outdoor condenser that uses some of the most advanced technology available to modulate temperature without the energy-wasting overshoots and short-cycling associated with simpler systems. Ceiling suspended systems are great for applications where the structure or design does not support wall mounting or ceiling cassettes. As part of Mitsubishi's commercial P-Series, the condenser is constructed with industrial-grade materials to ensure consistent performance in the harshest conditions, making this system ideal for critical applications that require constant conditioning in a sub-freezing environment.

Features:

• Precision Temperature Control Technology: The PUZ-HA42NHA outdoor condenser includes inverter technology and an electronic linear expansion valve. By adjusting compressor speed and refrigerant flow, output can be matched to the zone for precise temperature control and improved efficiency.

• H2i Technology: The PUZ-HA42NHA maintains heating operation with outdoor temperatures as low as -13° F. The PCZ-HA42NHA also features hot-start heat-pump technology to ensure that no cold air escapes during warm up.

• Dehumidification: When the indoor unit runs in dry mode, the coil's temperature stays just below the dew point of the return air, removing unwanted moisture. This improves comfort and reduces the chance of mold growth and other property damage in the conditioned space.

• Vane Control: Optimal air flow can be achieved with the PCA-A42KA thanks to the vane control option. This function provides access to four different horizontal vane positions and a swing mode. Swing mode cycles through all positions for maximum coverage.

Required Components:

• Drain Line: The drain line removes the condensate from your system. It connects your system to the drain location of your choosing
• Connecting Cable: The connecting cable provides power to your indoor units from your outdoor condenser

• Base Pan Heater (Optional): The base pan heater stops ice from building up on the outdoor unit, preventing performance degradation and potential damage
