An efficient MXZ-SM48NAMHZ outdoor condenser, built with advanced technology, is combined with quiet, wall-mounted MSZ-GS indoor units and five wireless remote controllers for the perfect marriage of convenience and comfort. With multiple operating modes, multiple fan speeds, and multiple airflow directions, this is a system that fits the needs of nearly any home.

Features:

• Hyper Heating: The Mitsubishi MXZ-SM condensers are capable of up to 100% heating capacity at 5°F and 75% heating capacity at -13°F.

• Precision Temperature Control Technology: This condenser is equipped with inverter technology and an electronic linear expansion valve. By adjusting compressor speed and refrigerant flow, the output of the unit can be matched to the zone for precise temperature control and improved efficiency.

• Advanced Filtration System: The MSZ-GS unit combines a hybrid catechin deodorizing filter with an enzyme-based filter for managing allergens. The anti-allergy filter not only captures the offending particles, it also breaks them down, cleaning the air as it is conditioned.

• Integrated Base Pan Heater: MXZ-SM outdoor condensers have a Factory-installed base pan heater in the drain pan. This prevents condensate from freezing and damaging the unit in frigid climates.

• Econo Cool Mode: By slowly adjusting the cooling set point and swinging the horizontal vanes, the MSZ-GS unit can improve the efficiency of cooling operations without compromising the comfort provided.

• Hot-Start: Mitsubishi's hot-start technology prevents cold drafts by delaying fan operation until the heat exchanger has warmed up.

• Multiple Vane Control Options: Auto mode selects the best vane position based on operating mode, and the swing modes cycle through all positions for maximum coverage. When wide mode is activated, fan speed increases beyond the current setting.

Required Components:

• Line Set: Line set tubing transfers refrigerant between your outdoor condenser and indoor units
• Drain Line: The drain line removes the condensate from your system. It connects your system to the drain location of your choosing
• Connecting Cable: The connecting cable provides power to your indoor units from your outdoor condenser
• Branch Box: The branch box connects to the condenser and allows for multiple refrigerant lines to be connected to your indoor evaporators
• Disconnect Box and Electrical Whip Kit: The disconnect box and whip kit gives an easy way to connect your outdoor condenser to your fuse box
• Base Pan Heater (Optional): The base pan heater stops ice from building up on the outdoor unit, preventing performance degradation and potential damage
