This low ambient system uses a Hyper-Heating H2i MXZ-SM42NAMHZ outdoor condenser to provide efficient cooling and subzero heating through four advanced MLZ-KP ceiling cassette indoor units. Four wireless remote controllers guarantee convenient comfort by allowing you to control the temperature in individual rooms. An MXZ multi-room system is an excellent choice for supplementing capacity to a current system, conditioning newly furnished spaces, or new additions and replacing a system within a home. With multiple operating modes and multiple fan speeds, this is a system that fits the needs of nearly any home.

• Precision Temperature Control Technology: The outdoor condenser is equipped with inverter technology and an electronic linear expansion valve. These components improve temperature accuracy and system efficiency through precise adjustments of both compressor speed and refrigerant flow.

• Hot-Start: Mitsubishi's hot start technology prevents cold drafts by delaying fan operation until the heat exchanger has warmed up.

• Vane Control: Optimal air flow can be achieved with the MLZ-KP thanks to the vane control option. This function provides access to an auto mode and a swing mode.

• Condensate Removal System: The MLZ-KP contains an internal drain mechanism capable of lifting condensate 19-11/16". This simplifies installation and prevents condensate overflow, which can damage or destroy your property.

• Serviceability: The MLZ-KP is designed to fit between standard 16" joists and be serviced from below, making installation and maintenance easier than ever.

• Dehumidification: When the indoor unit runs in dry mode, the coil's temperature stays just below the dew point of the return air, removing unwanted moisture. This improves comfort and reduces the chance of mold growth and other property damage in the conditioned space.

• H2i Technology: H2i hyper heat performance offers 100% heating capacity at 5 degrees and 74% heating capacity at -13 degrees Fahrenheit.

• Integrated Base Pan Heater: Factory-installed base pan heater in the drain pan. This prevents condensate from freezing and damaging the unit in frigid climates.

Required Components:
