The Lutron Maestro Dual Technology Motion Sensor Switch uses both ultrasonic waves and passive infrared (PIR) technology to ensure reliable automatic sensing. Press the tap switch to manually turn the light ON and let dual-technology sensor will turn the lights OFF automatically when the room is vacant. This Lutron Maestro Dual-Tech Motion Sensor features XCT Dual Sensing Technology (PIR and ultrasonic) which detects very fine motion, such as typing at a desk or reading, ensuring lights do not turn off inadvertently. Lutron Maestro Sensors has an adjustable timeout (1, 5, 15 or 30 minutes), to control how long the lights stay on after leaving the room.
