The Lutron Maestro Dual Circuit Dual-Tech Motion Sensor Switch combines two switches with ultrasonic waves and passive infrared (PIR) technology to ensure reliable automatic sensing. This Lutron Maestro Dual Circuit and Dual-Tech Motion Sensor features Dual Sensing Technology (PIR and ultrasonic) which detects very fine motion, such as typing at a desk or reading, ensuring lights do not turn off inadvertently. Lutron Maestro Sensors have an adjustable timeout (1, 5, 15 or 30 minutes), to control how long the lights stay on after leaving the room. Lutron’s, patent pending, adaptive zero-cross switching algorithm extends and maximizes the relay’s life.
