This concealed duct ductless heat pump system pairs a powerful LMU481HV outdoor condenser with two concealed duct indoor units. These units are designed for installation in short-run ducting with low static pressures. With this system, you can add quiet zoned comfort to your home without mounting anything on your walls. Like a central system, small air registers are all that your guests will see with this concealed duct heat pump system.

Special Features:

• Inverter Technology: LG's outdoor condensers are designed with efficient inverter technology. An electronic expansion valve and a variable speed compressor carefully regulate the refrigerant flow, reducing energy consumption and allowing for consistent, accurate temperatures.

• Gold Fin Protection: To ensure the reliability and longevity of the LMU481HV's heat exchanger, LG employs a Gold Fin coating that prevents corrosion and improves durability.

• Quiet Design: Thanks to brushless fan motors, both the outdoor and indoor units in this system produce less mechanical and electrical noise. A twin rotary compressor in the outdoor unit also limits vibration noise.

• Automated Operation: Auto operation mode continually compares your zones' current and desired temperatures and uses that data to intelligently adjust fan speed and refrigerant flow to provide optimal comfort.

• Sleep Mode: With the sleep mode and timer functions, you can set the indoor units to save energy at night. Sleep mode will incrementally adjust temperatures for an hour before the timer function automatically deactivates the units.

• Condensate Protection: Condensate overflow can damage your indoor unit and your home. Internal condensate pumps with 27.5" of lift protect these indoor units through reliable, effective condensate removal.

• Improved Air Quality: These mini split indoor units include anti-fungal filters to keep your air clean. These filters capture contaminants like dust and bacteria, and they are washable to ensure long term air quality.

• Dehumidify: LG's multi-zone indoor units include a dehumidifying operation mode. In this mode, the units' internal sensors monitor temperature and modify the set point and fan speed to remove moisture from the air.

• Hot Start: When the hot start function is enabled on a mini split indoor unit, the fan will not engage until the outdoor condenser has had the opportunity to warm the indoor coil. This prevents the unit from blowing cold air during heating operations.

Required Components:

• Line Set: Line set tubing transfers refrigerant between your outdoor condenser and indoor units
• Drain Line: The drain line removes the condensate from your system. It connects your system to the drain location of your choosing
• Connecting Cable: The connecting cable provides power to your indoor units from your outdoor condenser
• Branch Box: The branch box connects to the condenser and allows for multiple refrigerant lines to be connected to your indoor evaporators
• Disconnect Box and Electrical Whip Kit: The disconnect box and whip kit gives an easy way to connect your outdoor condenser to your fuse box
• Base Pan Heater (Optional): The base pan heater stops ice from building up on the outdoor unit, preventing performance degradation and potential damage
