• LG's new R-32 mini split units require a 5-conductor cable (Not Included) instead of the standard 4-conductor, improving communication reliability and enabling a new leak detection feature.
• Built-In Wi-Fi
• The KNUAK181A has built-in Wi-Fi, enabling the control of your LG air conditioner with smart enabled devices. Simply download the SmartThinQ® app on your smart device to get started.
• Air Flow Options
• This unit gives you two options for automating air flow. In Swing Mode, the unit will rotate through all four air flow directions to ensure consistent comfort in every corner of your room.
• Quiet Design
• The KNUAK181A can operate at volumes as low as 34 dB thanks to a combination of cutting edge components. LG utilizes a cross flow fan design that reduces noise levels by limiting the surface pressure of air flow.
• Self-Cleaning Coil
• The KNUAK181A features a self-cleaning heat exchanger coil that automatically removes dirt and moisture. This helps to prevent unpleasant odors and to combat the formation of mold.
• Jet Temperature Control
• Quickly get your zone comfortable with the Jet Heat and Jet Cool modes. With the press of a button, your system will temporarily adjust the set point and fan speed to provide rapid heating or cooling.
• Automated Operation
• Auto operation mode continually compares your zone's current and desired temperatures and uses that data to intelligently adjust the unit's fan speed and refrigerant flow to provide optimal comfort.
• Sleep Mode
• With the Sleep Mode and Timer functions, you can set this indoor unit to save energy at night. Sleep Mode will incrementally adjust temperature for an hour before the Timer function automatically deactivates the unit.
• Dehumidify
• LG's indoor units include a dehumidifying operation mode. In this mode, the unit's internal sensors monitor temperature and modify the set point and fan speed to remove moisture from the air.
• Improved Air Quality
• The KNUAK181A uses a dual filtration system to keep your air clean. A washable anti-fungal filter protects against dust and bacteria, while a 3M Micro Protection Filter captures microscopic irritants for pristine air quality.
• Hot-Start
• When the Hot-Start function is enabled, the KNUAK181A's fan will not engage until the outdoor condenser has had the opportunity to warm the indoor coil. This prevents the unit from blowing cold air during heating operations.
