The 1500SC Series Pocket Door Frame is designed to soft-open and soft-close heavy solid core doors weighing up to 165lbs. Smooth ball bearing hanger wheels combined with soft-closing door operation make the 1500SC one of the finest pocket door installations available. The 1500SC is designed to be quickly installed into prepared 2 x 4 timber frame stud walls or 4" steel framed stud walls when using the 1574PLBG 4" Steel Stud Adapter Kit.

Features:

• Ready to install in 2" x 4" wall opening
• The 1500SC Frame Kit is packaged for easy transport and fast installation for either single or converging (2) door applications and all frame sizes can be cut down to accommodate custom size doors.
• The 1500SC includes 2 soft-close mechanisms which makes a 28" or wider door soft operate in both directions of travel. Minimum door width for bidirectional soft door operation is 28".For doors under 28" wide (20" to 28") only single direction soft operation is possible.
• For single direction soft-operating pocket door frames, order the 1500 HD Pocket Frame and (1) 1060 Soft-Close Kit.
