Currey and Company Electra 8 Light 44" Wide Drum Chandelier

Over a long dining table, where a round fixture would leave the ends dark, the Electra 8 Light Oval Chandelier stretches the light out to match the room. Two tiers of glass bars hang from a brass frame, the lower oval drawn in smaller than the upper. The bars are handmade, curved in places and irregular along the edges, so they read like ice rather than machined rods. Hard glass against a slim metal frame is the whole tension of the design. Eight lights refract through the pieces and throw sparkle in several directions at once.
