This emergency water-powered backup pump runs on city water pressure and is easily used with any brand of sump pump. With no need to have a battery to stay charged during a long power outage, you are protected 24/7 , even at the most inconvenient times. This nonelectric backup sump pump uses a 3/4-inch supply line to create enough pressure to force water through a 1-1/2-inch discharge pipe, moving water outside the home. They are battery-less backup systems that use the pressure from the municipal water supply. Doing this allows the pump to expel two gallons for every gallon used.
