LED

Light Emitting Diodes (LED) are known for being incredibly efficient, long lasting, environmentally friendly, and durable. Lasting 25x longer than a standard bulb. While incandescent and fluorescent lights consist of heated filaments in glass bulbs or bulbs that contain gases, LEDs consist of small capsules or lenses in which tiny chips are placed on heat-conducting material.

CFL

CFL bulbs are more and more frequently becoming the norm in the American household. With their long life span and bright light output, CFL's are always a good option if you want a fixture that performs and saves you money every year.

Incandescent

Incandescent bulbs are the standard bulb in lighting. Not as efficient as a CFL, but provides a warm yellow light.

Halogen

Halogen bulbs are slowly becoming the replacement bulb for incandescent fixtures. Halogen bulbs are making incandescent irrelevant because they can be the same shape, similar brightness, cost effective, and also fully dimmable.

Xenon/Krypton

Produces a brighter white light than that of incandescent due to the Xenon / Krypton filament that is used. Lasts 3x longer than standard incandescents. Fully dimmable and produce an equivalent light output at a lower energy cost. Very popular in candelabra bulb bases.
